How do electronic cigarettes work?
Basically, when activated the battery charges the atomizer causing it to heat up & start the vaporization process within the atomizing chamber. As you inhale air passes through the chamber & delivers the vaporized nicotine & flavoring within a smoke-like vapor.
What is the correct way to inhale on one of these things?
A slow steady inhalation enough to activate the battery will give the atty time to do it's job. The end result should be a nice dense amount of vapor.
What the hell was that nasty taste when I first used it?
It is the primer e-liquid that the manufacturer uses to mechanically test the atty before it ships. It is a good practice to blow out any excess liquid found in ANY new atty.
1) blow continuously for a couple of seconds through the front end of the atty--where the battery connects.
2) re-prime with 2-3 drops of your flavored e-liquid directly onto the metal wicking bridge inside of the atomizing chamber.
3) connect a fully charged battery to the atomizer w/o a cartridge & puff-- don't inhale, until there is very little vapor production.
4) repeat, then repeat again. you should now be able to experience the unadulterated full flavor of your e-liquid.
The vapor production seems a bit weak compared to when it was new.
Please ensure that your battery is fully charged & that the atomizer isn't flooded; if it is remove the battery & blow out excess liquid. Re-assemble & vape on! Electronic cigarettes do not have indefinite lifespans, of course it depends how you use them-- hot boxing the atty often, dropping em', etc.. but if you bought from us & it fails within 2 weeks of purchase, & is not due to malicious behavior, contact us so that we can swap the part out for you.
It is my understanding that it is actually a solution containing a nicotine content of 24mg/ml. Considering that one traditional cigarette contains about 0.9mg-1.2mg of nicotine, & a typical pen-style cartridge holds approximately 1ml of liquid, it would be safe to hazard that the nicotine content of one pen-style cartridge containing 24mg e-liquid is roughly equivalent to that of 22 traditional cigarettes. Is there a correct way to refill a cart?

Not really. It is extremely easy to do with the things you probably already have in the house-- paper towels & a pair of fine point tweezers. After removing the spent cart from the atty:
1) Wipe off excess liquid from the cart casing, then with the tweezers gently pull the wicking material from the cart casing & set aside.
2) Fill cart with desired flavor e-liquid till about 2/3 from top; re-insert wicking material slowly into cart casing.
3) Once the wick sits correctly within the cart ensure that the wick is saturated. If cart isn't to be used immediately, cover the exposed end with the rubber stopper & store it for future use.
